Life begins to change for Manny and his friends: Scrat is still on the hunt to hold onto his beloved acorn, while finding a possible romance in a female squirrel named Scratte. Diego is fed up with being treated like a house-cat and considers if he is becoming too laid-back. Manny and Ellie are a happy couple expecting a baby. Sid is jealous with them and starts wishing for a family of his own, so steal some dinosaur eggs which lead him to a strange underground. His herd must rescue him and face danger while dodging dinosaurs.
