Years ago, Doctor Parmassus, who has the ability of guiding imaginations of others, had a bet with a devil, Mr. Nick, that who won 5 souls first would be the owner of his daughter - Valentina's soul when she turned 16. When Parmassus and his theatre troupe try to save Valentina, they accidentally save Tony, who helps them to remodel the show to be more attractive. But there's a dark side of Tony they haven't known.
