A film centers on a young boy David Swinton who live in the mid-21st century when humans have developed a new type of computer which can help people confront the melting of the polar caps. This artificial intelligence also is used in robots. When David finds he is not his parents’ biological son, but a robotic child to replace their natural son who died, he starts to learn what he can be more than a machine.
