The movie begins with a romantic vacation in an abandoned house in the wood of Ash and Linda. They accidentally play a tape of an archaeology professor, the former owner of the house, reciting magical words which release an evil force. Linda is killed and transformed into a ghost. Along with Annie, the professor’s daughter and her boyfriend, Ash must struggle to survive.
