10 years after escaping from their grandparents' attic at Foxworth Hall, the surviving Dollanganger children - Cathy, Chris, and Carrie try to put their sordid past behind. But the past still affects their lives and twisted plight still follows them. While Cathy and Chris have to face their forbidden felling for each other and try to escape from it, Carrie commits a suicide after Corrine denies Carrie as her daughter, which makes Cathy angry and vow to get revenge on their mother.
