Taken place in 1857, ‘’ Underground ‘’ follows a 25-year-old slave named Noah, who is the leader of a small group of fellow slaves on Macon Plantation planning to escape to the Underground Railroad. On their way, they are aided by a mysterious abolitionist couple running a station on the Underground Railroad as they attempt to evade the people charged with bringing them back, dead or alive.
