The film starts with the suicide of Mary Alice Young, a seemingly perfect housewife. Her four close friends, Susan Mayer, Lynette Scavo, Bree Van de Kamp and Gabrielle Solis who live in the suburb of Wisteria Lane, try to find out the reason and the secret behind her suicide while also deal with their own personal issues.
