Canopy

In 1942 an Australian fighter pilot is shot down in Singapore. While attempts to stay away from the enems sight through the jungle, he crosspaths with an anti-Japanese Chinese insurgent from Dalforce who is also separated from his fellow members after an attack. Despite being unable to speak each other's language, the two work together to make their way to safety.
