The X-Files - I Want to Believe

Mulder and Scully are former FBI agents who have retired from the force for several years, with Mulder isolatedly living as a fugitive from the organization and Scully working as a dedicated doctor at a Catholic-run hospital. When an FBI agent is mysteriously kidnapped, and a former priest who has been sentenced to jail for molesting a child molester claims to come across with psychic visions of the captured agent, Mulder and Scully reluctantly accept the FBI's request to return to duty using their special paranormal expertise on the case.
