Season 2 starts with the return of the vampire Katherine, who looks identical to Elena Gilbert, as a villain. Her reappearance affects a lot to the relationship of the trio Stefan, Damon and Elena. And the residents of Mystic Falls' residents fall in danger since there're not only vampires but also werewolfs and Original Vampires existing in their town. Klaus, an Original Vampire and also the most strongest vampire in the world, goes head to head with Damon, but shows interest in Stefan and tries to drag him to his side.
